# I gave but I cannot see my donation

> Where a completed donation should appear, and what to check when it does not.

You gave, but the donation isn't showing up in your account's giving history.

## Check these first

1. **Were you signed in with the same email you gave with?** A donation made as a guest, or with a different email than your account uses, doesn't appear in your history until you sign in with the matching email.
2. **Did payment actually complete?** If your bank step or payment was interrupted before the confirmation screen, no donation was ever recorded — see [My payment failed](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/my-donation-failed/).
3. **Check your email for a receipt.** A receipt means the money went through — it also shows exactly which email address the donation is tied to.

## By what you see

### "No donations yet"

**What it means.** Nothing completed in your account matches yet — the most common reasons are a different email at checkout, a donation made without signing in, or a payment that didn't finish.

**What to do.** Search your inbox for a receipt from the organization. If you find one, note the email it was sent to and sign in with that email — see [Create a donor account](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/create-an-account/). No receipt at all usually means the payment didn't complete.

### You have a receipt, but it's still not in your history

**What it means.** The donation itself went through, but the record isn't attached to your account.

**What to do.** This is one for the organization to sort out on their end — they can see the donation and confirm it against your details.
