# Find a campaign to support

> Search and browse live campaigns on DonorCARE, narrow them by category, and sort them.

Use the campaigns page to see live appeals from non-profit and religious organizations, search them, and open the one you want to give to.

## Before you start

No account needed. The campaigns page is on donorcare.my. An organization's own website shows only that organization's campaigns, so look for the **Campaigns** list on donorcare.my to see appeals from every organization.

## Steps

1. **Open the campaigns page.** The heading reads **Find a cause to support**. Beside it, a switch lets you move between **Nonprofits** and **Campaigns**.
2. **Search, if you know what you want.** Type in the box labeled **Search campaigns or organizations**. DonorCARE matches your words against the campaign name, its description and the organization's name. Select the small clear button in the box to start again.
3. **Pick a category.** Under the heading, a row of buttons starts with **All**, followed by categories such as **Healthcare & Medical** or **Education & Scholarships**. A **Dharma Events** button appears when there are dharma events. The row only lists categories that have campaigns right now, so it changes over time.
4. **Change the order, if you like.** The **Sort** control offers **Newest**, **Ending soon** and **Close to goal**. A choice appears only when there are enough campaigns for it to make a difference, so you may see fewer options, or none.
5. **Open a campaign.** Each card shows the campaign name, a short description, the organization's name, and — if the organization shows its figures — how much has been raised (for example "RM 1,200 raised"), with a progress bar when the campaign has a goal. On the right of each card is the time left: **Ongoing**, **Last day**, or a number of days such as **12d left**. Select the card to open its page. See [Read a campaign page](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/read-a-campaign-page/).

When you search or pick a category, the heading above the cards changes to a count, such as "3 campaigns", with a **Clear filters** link. With no search or category chosen, the heading reads **All campaigns**, or **More campaigns** below the highlighted ones at the top.

## Find campaigns that have finished

Below the live campaigns, **Recently ended** lists campaigns that have closed, each marked **Ended**. The note beneath says: "These campaigns are closed and no longer accepting donations." You can open them to read the story and updates, but you can't give to them.

## Find a campaign from an organization

- On donorcare.my, **Browse nonprofits** lets you go to the directory with **See all in the directory**. See [Find an organization in the directory](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/npo-directory/).
- On an organization's own page, use **View Campaigns**, or scroll to its list of causes. See [Read an organization's page](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/read-an-organizations-page/).

## If something goes wrong

| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "No campaigns match that filter" and "Try a different search term or category." | Nothing matches your search words and category together | Select **Clear filters**, or try fewer words |
| The category buttons or **Sort** control are missing | There are too few live campaigns for them to be useful | Scroll through the full list instead |
| A campaign you were sent a link to isn't in the list | Only live and recently ended campaigns are listed | Open the link directly; see [Campaign page problems](https://donorcare.my/help/donors/campaign-page-problems/) |
