**Who can do this:** Owner, Admin, Finance, Member, Viewer

A campaign update is a short post that appears on the campaign's public page, telling donors how their giving is being used.

## Steps

1. **Open the campaign's Updates tab.** In DonorCARE, open the campaign, then select the Updates tab.

2. **Select Post Update and write it.** Enter a **Title** and the **Content** of the update. You can also add an **Image URL** to include a photo.

3. **Select Post Update to publish it.** DonorCARE confirms with "Update posted successfully!" and the update appears immediately on the campaign's public page, with your name and the date attached.

To change or remove an update afterwards, select **Edit** or **Delete** next to it in the list. Deleting asks you to confirm first, and can't be undone.

## If something goes wrong

| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Title and content are required" | The Title or Content field was left blank | Fill in both fields and select Post Update again |
| "Failed to post update" | The request didn't reach DonorCARE, or a server error occurred | Check your connection and try again |
