Donor dashboard
The donor doesn't disappear after the gift
A gift on a phone should not be the last a donor hears from you. Every donor gets a passwordless account at /my-account: their full giving history, every receipt, and a recognition tier they can watch move.
- Email OTP
- No password to remember or reset
- Bronze–Diamond
- Five recognition tiers, self-tracked
- /my-impact
- A shareable page, banded not exact
Giving history
Every donation, every receipt, one place
A donor logs in with an email code — nothing to remember — and sees a searchable, paginated table of their own completed gifts, each linked straight to its receipt.
- Donation history by campaign, amount, date, and status
- Every receipt one tap away, with a downloadable PDF
- No date cutoff — the full history tied to their account, not just recent gifts
- Total donated, campaigns supported, and donation count on the overview
Memorial and blessing names
Donors edit their own tablet names, when it's still safe to
For temple and memorial offerings, the donor can correct the names on their own paid registration directly from their dashboard — locked automatically once a tablet has already been produced, and only while the campaign is still open.
- Self-service edits to 往生莲位 and 延生禄位 entries
- Locked per row once a tablet is produced
- Your org can turn this off for any reason, at any time
Recognition
A progress bar, not just a thank-you email
Cumulative giving unlocks a tier — Bronze through Diamond — with a live progress bar showing exactly how much more takes a donor to the next one.
- Current tier, next tier, and RM remaining, always visible
- A shareable /my-impact page: donations, orgs, and campaigns supported
- Impact totals are shown in bands, never the exact amount
Frequently asked questions
Does a donor need to create a password, or even an account, to give?
No password, ever — donors sign in with a one-time code emailed to them. Giving itself doesn't require an account at all; a gift can be made as a guest. An account only exists once someone verifies that email code, and it's created automatically the first time they do.
Can a donor get a copy of a receipt from three years ago themselves, without phoning the office?
Yes, if the gift is tied to their account. The donation history in /my-account has no date cutoff — it's every completed gift linked to their donor record, oldest included, each one a tap away from its receipt. The honest caveat: a gift your staff recorded at the counter (cash, cheque) isn't automatically linked to a donor login. For those, the receipt still exists, but self-service lookup by the donor isn't there yet — that one is still a request to your office.
A donor gave the wrong name for a memorial or blessing tablet — can it be corrected, and by whom?
The donor can fix it themselves from their dashboard, but only within limits: the row can't already be produced on a tablet, the campaign has to still be open, and your organization has to leave donor self-editing switched on — you can turn it off entirely. Outside those limits, it's a request to your team. Either way, the correction is written to an audit trail.
Some of our donors are elderly and don't use smartphones. What do they get?
They're outside the dashboard, not outside the system. A cash or cheque gift your staff records at the counter gets the same receipt as an online one, and your team can email it or download a PDF to hand over on paper — no account, login, or smartphone needed on the donor's side for that.
Can a donor manage a recurring donation from the dashboard?
Recurring changes — pause, resume, edit the amount, update the card, cancel — go through a secure link emailed to the donor, not through the /my-account dashboard itself.
What does the recognition tier depend on?
Cumulative confirmed giving. Your org can switch tiers and the shareable impact page on or off — they are not tied to your plan.
