Frequently asked questions
Is this event ticketing, with check-in?
No. This is name registration for a memorial tablet or blessing slot, recorded as part of a donation. There's no attendance tracking, no QR check-in, and no seat or capacity management — it's a donation feature, not a ticketing system.
Can I sell a limited number of a tablet or blessing slot?
Yes. An offering can be capped at a fixed quantity, so you can stop sales once it's sold out.
A donor gave the wrong name for a tablet — can it be corrected, and by whom?
The donor can correct it themselves from their own dashboard, but only while it's still safe to: the specific name can't already be produced on a tablet, the campaign has to still be open, and your organization has to leave donor self-editing switched on — an org-level setting you control. Once a tablet's been produced or the campaign's closed, it becomes a request to your team instead, and either way the change is written to an audit trail.
Some of our donors are elderly and don't register their own names online. What do they get?
A relative or your own staff can enter the names on their behalf. Registering isn't limited to the donor's own checkout — the same admin console your team uses to record a donation lets staff add the registration and its names directly, so a family member can hand the details to your counter instead of using a phone.
Does the donor need an account to register a name?
No. Registration happens as part of checkout itself — nothing about entering a name requires creating a password or logging in first.
