Donation forms
The screen your donor actually sees
Most gifts in Malaysia are made on a phone, in under a minute, by someone who will never log in again. The form has to work the first time — and it has to collect what LHDN will ask for later.
Built for how Malaysians actually give
- FPX
- Online banking, B2C and B2B
- DuitNow
- QR, straight from any banking app
- s44(6)
- Tax-deductible receipts
- RM
- Ringgit throughout
- Cash & bank transfer
- Recorded manually, same donor record
Built for the phone
One screen, one decision, one tap
Preset amounts, a clear progress bar, and a single button. Nothing on the form asks the donor to think about your internal processes.
- Preset and custom amounts, in ringgit
- Live campaign progress and donor count
- Names captured for memorial tablets and blessing slots, including Chinese characters
Payment methods
The rails your donors already use
Payments run through the CHIP gateway. A donor pays the way they already pay for everything else, rather than the way your accounting system would prefer.
- FPX online banking, personal and corporate
- DuitNow QR
- Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards
- GrabPay, Touch 'n Go eWallet, ShopeePay and Atome
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
Not every gift starts online
Cash at the counter, cheques, and bank transfers count too
Most gifts to a Malaysian temple, mosque, or clan association still arrive as cash in a donation box, or a bank transfer nobody typed into a form. Staff record those the same way they'd record any other gift — amount, donor, method — and it lands in the same donor record and the same reports as a donation made online.
- Cash, cheque, and bank transfer recorded as a payment method, same field as FPX or card
- A reference number field for the bank slip or cheque, used for reconciliation
- A manually recorded gift can still carry the donor's tax ID for a proper receipt
Compliance, collected quietly
The tax details arrive with the gift
A tax-deductible receipt needs identity details your donor only has to hand at the moment of giving. Ask in March and you are chasing them by phone.
- Tax-deductible receipts issued automatically
- Donor details captured once, reused on every future gift
- Receipts numbered per organisation, in your own format
Recurring giving
Monthly donors, without the monthly reminder
A donor can commit once and give monthly, quarterly or yearly. Billing runs on a schedule rather than on somebody remembering to chase it.
- Monthly, quarterly or yearly schedules
- Card-based, using a stored payment token
- Donors manage their own recurring gift
Frequently asked questions
Most of our donations are cash at the counter. Is this only for online giving?
No. Cash, cheque, and bank transfer are payment methods in DonorCARE, not an afterthought bolted on to an online form. Staff record a counter gift the same way they'd record an FPX payment — pick the method, enter the amount — and it becomes a normal donation record: same donor history, same reports, same receipt as anything given online.
We have years of records in Excel and on paper. What happens to those?
Paper records still need to be typed in — there's no scanner. But once they're in a spreadsheet, you don't have to re-key each one by hand: download a CSV template for a campaign, fill in the amount, donor, payment method, and payment date, and upload it as a batch. It's a per-campaign import into the same donation records everything else uses, not a general-purpose data migration tool.
Will LHDN actually accept a receipt this produces?
The receipt itself follows Section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967 and is numbered in your organisation's own sequence — included from the Pro plan up. If you also file e-invoices with LHDN's MyInvois system (Enterprise plan), each submission carries a tracked status — draft, pending, submitted, valid, invalid, or cancelled — so you can see whether LHDN actually accepted it, not just whether you sent it.
Do donors need an account to give?
No. A gift completes without an account. Donors who do sign in get their history, their receipts and their name records in one place — but nothing about giving requires it.
Can we take recurring donations by FPX?
Not today. Recurring gifts run on a stored card token, so they are card-based only. One-off gifts can use any supported method, including FPX and DuitNow QR.
Do you support currencies other than ringgit?
No, and deliberately. DonorCARE is built for Malaysian organisations: amounts are in ringgit, receipts follow Section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967, and e-invoices go to LHDN MyInvois. A general-purpose international tool would need a side-system to do any of that.
