Why DonorCARE
Compared with the way the office runs today
Most organizations do not come to us from another product. They come from a form, a payment link, a WhatsApp group and a spreadsheet. Here is the same work, side by side.
Eight jobs, done both ways
If you take a handful of gifts a year and nobody asks for a receipt, the form and the spreadsheet are enough. Keep them. This is for when they stop being enough.
Taking the gift
Form, link and spreadsheetA form for the details, then a bank transfer or a payment link, then a screenshot of the slip sent over WhatsApp.
On DonorCAREOne page takes the details and the payment together, by FPX, DuitNow QR, card or e-wallet.
Knowing who paid
Form, link and spreadsheetSomeone matches lines on the bank statement to rows in the form, by name and amount.
On DonorCAREThe payment and the donor are one record from the moment the gift is made.
Receipts
Form, link and spreadsheetTyped into a template, numbered by hand and emailed one at a time.
On DonorCAREIssued and numbered when the gift completes, and emailed to the donor.
Tax details and e-Invoices
Form, link and spreadsheetAsked for again months later, when the donor wants a receipt they can claim with.
On DonorCARECaptured at checkout. LHDN MyInvois e-Invoices are submitted for organizations that need them.
Names for tablets and blessings
Form, link and spreadsheetRetyped from the form into the print file, and checked by eye.
On DonorCARETaken with the gift and carried through to printing as the donor wrote them.
A donor's history
Form, link and spreadsheetSpread across years of spreadsheets and chat threads.
On DonorCAREOne record per donor. Donors can see their own history and download their own receipts.
Reports for the committee
Form, link and spreadsheetBuilt by hand in the week before the meeting.
On DonorCAREOn demand, with exports your accountant can use.
What it costs
Form, link and spreadsheetNothing to subscribe to, and somebody's evenings.
On DonorCAREThe Free plan stays free. Pro is RM 250 a month.
Building it yourselves
The first version is the cheap part
After it comes keeping up with LHDN rule changes, the MyInvois API, receipt templates and every payment gateway's quirks, for as long as you take donations. DonorCARE carries that work as its product, so your volunteers and engineers can spend theirs on the campaign.
A donation tool made elsewhere
Built around cards and another country's receipt
Tools made for other markets do the general job well. FPX, DuitNow QR, a Malaysian tax-exempt receipt and LHDN MyInvois are usually left for you to solve beside them, in a second system. DonorCARE was built in Malaysia for how Malaysians give, and none of it is adapted from somewhere else.
A chat assistant instead of the Copilot
Cheaper, if a chat box is what you need
A general assistant cannot see your donor records or change anything in them. The AI Copilot works on your own data and proposes drafts, segments and schedules that a person approves, with an audit trail of what was approved.
The price
Start on Free. It is a plan, not a trial
Pro is RM 250 a month, or RM 1,500 for the year, which suits an annual budget and a single board approval. Enterprise is scoped to the organization, because its support, volume and onboarding needs differ each time.
Bring the form you use today.
Start free and put your next campaign on it, or book a demo and we will walk your committee through the same work on DonorCARE.
