Churches
Tithes, offerings and the building fund, in one record
Members give by FPX, DuitNow QR or card. The gift goes straight to the church's own account, the receipt goes to the giver, and the treasurer sees every fund in one place.
- FPX
- DuitNow QR and cards too
- RM 0
- The Free plan, not a trial
- 3 gateways
- CHIP, Billplz or toyyibPay
Funds
A page for each fund
The general fund, the building fund, missions, a relief appeal: each gets its own page with its own goal and running total. Share the link in the church WhatsApp group or put it on the screen on Sunday.
- A goal and the amount raised, shown to the giver
- A giving form made for the phone
- Extra questions on the form, such as a name for a camp or a dinner
Payments
Straight to the church's own account
Online gifts go through a gateway account opened in the church's own name: CHIP, Billplz or toyyibPay. DonorCARE records the gift and issues the receipt. The money does not pass through us.
- FPX online banking on all three gateways
- DuitNow QR, cards and e-wallets through CHIP
- Monthly giving by card through CHIP, on Pro
- Cash and cheques from the offering are recorded by hand into the same record
Receipts
A numbered receipt for every gift
When a gift completes, the receipt is issued, numbered and emailed to the giver, who can download it again from their own account. No more typing receipts into a template after the service.
- Each member sees their own giving history
- Tax-deduction receipts for organizations that qualify, on Pro
Records
The numbers the church council asks for
Online and counted gifts sit in one record, by fund and by giver. Reports export for the treasurer and the auditor, and every change leaves a note of who made it and when.
Plainly
What it is not
DonorCARE is a giving and receipting system. It is not church management software: it does not keep a membership roll, attendance, cell groups or a service roster. It sits beside whatever you use for those.
Frequently asked questions
Does DonorCARE take a cut of each donation?
No. DonorCARE charges for the plan you are on and takes no percentage of a gift. Online payments run through your organization's own payment gateway account, and the gateway charges its own transaction fee under your agreement with it. Those rates are the gateway's to publish, so check them before you choose one.
Which payment gateways can we use?
CHIP, Billplz or toyyibPay, each through an account your organization opens with the gateway itself. CHIP carries FPX, DuitNow QR, cards and e-wallets, and is the one that runs monthly gifts. Billplz and toyyibPay take one-off gifts. You can also start with no gateway at all and record cash, cheque and bank-transfer gifts by hand.
Most of our giving is cash in the offering bag. Is this still useful?
Yes. Cash, cheque and bank transfer are payment methods in DonorCARE too. The counting team records them the same way an online gift is recorded, and they appear in the same giving history and the same reports.
Can a member give anonymously?
Yes. The giving form lets a giver choose to stay anonymous.
What does it cost?
The Free plan stays free and records up to 100 gifts a month. Pro is RM 250 a month, or RM 1,500 for the year, with no limit on gifts.
Put the next appeal on it.
Free to start, no contract. If the church council wants to see it first, we will walk them through it.
