Which payment methods you can use

DonorCARE supports several Malaysian payment methods, but you’ll only ever see the ones the organisation you’re giving to has switched on.

Each organisation connects its own payment provider account, and donations settle directly into that organisation’s own bank account. Because of that, which methods you can use depends on that specific organisation’s own setup — and can even vary between one appeal and another from the same organisation. The list you see at checkout is always the accurate one for that appeal.

FPX Consumer — pay by logging into your own bank’s online banking, for personal accounts.

FPX Business — the same online-banking payment, from a company or business bank account.

Card — Visa or Mastercard, credit or debit.

DuitNow QR — scan a QR code with your banking or e-wallet app to pay.

E-Wallet — pay using an e-wallet app such as Boost or GrabPay.

Do

  • Treat the methods shown at checkout as the full, current list for that appeal — it already reflects what the organisation supports.

Don’t

  • Assume every organisation on DonorCARE accepts every method. Some show only one or two, and that isn’t a fault — it’s their own setup.

Aisyah wants to give RM 50 to a fundraiser. On the appeal’s page she sees FPX Consumer, Card and DuitNow QR, but not E-Wallet — this organisation hasn’t switched that one on. She pays by scanning the DuitNow QR code with her banking app, and the money leaves her account the same way any DuitNow payment would.
