What's on an organization's page

What you'll find on an organization's public page or website: about, campaigns, updates, FAQ and how to contact them.

Every organization on DonorCARE has a public page, and many also run a full website. This page explains what each part is, so you can check who you’re giving to before you donate.

No account needed. Organizations choose which parts to show and can change some of the wording, so what you see may differ from this page.

If the organization has set up a website, you’ll see these parts:

  • A top bar and menu with Home, About, FAQ, Contact and Posts. An organization may also add an announcement bar above it.
  • The home page. The organization chooses which blocks appear and in what order. These can include a welcome banner, its campaigns (by default headed Support Our Causes, with a Donate Now button on each), an About Us block, its latest updates, How It Works, Our Impact and Transparency.
  • Posts — the page headed Updates lists the organization’s news. Pinned items are marked Pinned; use ← Previous and Next → to move between pages. If there’s nothing yet, it says “No updates yet. Check back soon!”
  • FAQ — the page headed Frequently Asked Questions. At the bottom, Still have questions? leads to Contact Us →.
  • Contact — the page headed Contact Us, with a form to send a message. See Contact the organization you gave to.
  • The footer — Quick Links, Legal, Contact details and, if the organization has set them, Operating Hours.
  • Language, appearance and account buttons. If the organization has turned it on, a language button switches the site between English and Chinese (its label reads Switch to English or 切换至中文). A button (Switch to dark mode or Switch to light mode) changes the colors. A cart, Log in and, once you’re signed in, My Account also sit in the bar.

Organizations without a website still have a profile page on DonorCARE. It shows:

  • The organization’s name, Verified if it has been checked, and a short description.
  • Buttons: View Campaigns (jumps to its campaigns), Contact Us (opens an email to the organization), Website (its own site, if it has one) and View in NPO Directory.
  • Support Our Causes with its live campaigns, grouped under the organization’s own headings. With none live, the heading reads Our Campaigns and a note says to check back later.
  • What We Do, and a count of Active campaigns.
  • Get in Touch — Email, Phone, Website and Address, with a Send a Message button.
  • Legal Information — Registered Name, Organization Type and Registration Number, so you can check the organization is registered. See Understand a directory listing.

If the page can’t be found, you’ll see “Organization Not Found” and a Browse Organizations button.
