Add your tax details

Add your identity number and Tax Identification Number (TIN) from your receipt, and DonorCARE submits an LHDN e-Invoice for your donation — no account needed.

This only appears on receipts from a tax-deductible appeal, from an organisation that issues LHDN e-Invoices. If your receipt has no e-Invoice section, this donation doesn’t need one.

Have ready: your full name as it appears on your IC or passport, your identity number, and your Tax Identification Number (TIN). You’ll also need your postal address.

  1. Open your receipt — see Find, download or re-send your receipt if you don’t have the link handy.

  2. Scroll to the e-Invoice section, then select Request e-Invoice (or Update Details & Retry, if you’ve already tried and it was rejected).

  3. Enter your Full Name, choose your ID Type — NRIC (MyKad), Passport, Business Registration No. or Army ID — and enter your ID Number. A passport number is capped at 12 characters, per an LHDN rule taking effect 23 October 2026.

  4. Enter your Tax Identification No. (TIN), then select Validate. You’ll see “TIN verified by LHDN” once it checks out — you can’t submit until it does.

  5. Fill in your address — Address Line 1, City, State and Postal Code — then select Request e-Invoice.

  6. Confirmation: a “Request Submitted” message appears, and the receipt shows the e-Invoice’s status the next time you open it.
