Set up offerings for a dharma event

Offerings are what donors choose on a dharma event page — a memorial tablet, a blessing lamp, a combined package. Set each one up so the donor form asks for the right names, charges the right price, and prints on the right tablet design.

How offerings fit together

Before you start

The campaign must be in dharma event mode. See Choose a campaign type.
Have your tablet designs ready — a tier with no template can’t be printed. See Design a tablet template.

Steps

Open the campaign and select the Offerings tab. Select Add Offering Category for each package you want donors to choose.
Name the offering and set its options. Turn on Bundle only if one purchase gives several tablets. Turn on Open by Default for your main offering. Turn on Limited Qty if places are capped.
Select Add Tier for each price. Choose Fixed Amount or Flexible, enter the amount (or the minimum), and decide whether to Show Price.
Choose the tier’s Output Type. This decides what each registration turns into — see the table below.
Set Names per Entry and Tablet Template. On a bundle, add Included Items instead, and set names per tablet and a template on each one.
Select Preview to see the offering as donors will, then select Save Changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.

Offering settings

Setting	What it does
Bundle 综合配套	One purchase gives several tablets — for example one memorial and one blessing tablet for a single package price. Unlocks the Hybrid output type, and moves names and templates onto each Included Item. A bundle can’t be saved until a tier has at least one included item, because the donation form needs a row for each tablet’s names.
Open by Default 默认展开	Shows the offering already expanded on the event page, so donors see its tiers without tapping. Keep other offerings collapsed so the page stays short.
Limited Qty 限量	Caps how many places the offering can take across all its tiers. Every registered tablet row takes one place, so a two-tablet bundle takes two. A payment that fails, is cancelled or is voided gives its places back. When none are left, the offering shows as full (已额满).
Live / Hidden / Completed	Live is shown and open. Hidden is removed from the event page; registrations already taken are kept. Completed is still shown, but marked full and closed to new registrations.
Show Yangshang 显示阳上 and Tablet Group 共享牌位组	Only appear once DonorCARE has turned tablet customisations on for your organisation. Show Yangshang hides the 阳上 field for memorial offerings that print none. Offerings sharing a Tablet Group name print together as one merged batch.

Tier settings

Setting	What it does
Price Type 金额类型	Fixed Amount — the donor pays exactly this price. Flexible (随喜) — the donor enters any amount at or above the Minimum.
Show Price 显示价格	Off hides the amount on the event page. It doesn’t change what the tier costs. Flexible tiers always show their minimum.
Output Type 输出类型	Memorial 往生莲位 — a tablet for the deceased, with optional 阳上. Blessing 延生禄位 — a tablet for the living. Hybrid 混合牌位 — bundles only, both kinds in one tier. Listing 名单列表 — no individual tablet; names print together on one list. Manual 另行处理 — no template; the registration is recorded and you handle any printing yourself.
Selection Mode 选择模式	Hybrid tiers only. Include all gives the donor every included item. Choose one lets the donor pick either the memorial or the blessing item, so both kinds must be included.
Names per Entry 每位名数	How many names one tablet carries. Single — one. Couple — up to two, such as both parents. Family — no limit, such as 历代祖先. A donor with more names adds another entry, which is another tablet.
Yangshang Names 阳上人数	Memorial tiers only. The most 阳上 names — the living family members who dedicate the tablet — the donor form accepts for one tablet.
Enable “Family” suffix 合家标记	Couple blessing tiers only. Gives each entry a 合家 switch beside the name, on by default, printed after the names.
Tablet Template 牌位模板	The design used when you generate this tier’s tablets. Recommended lists designs of the same type as the Output Type. A Listing design works for any tier; a memorial or blessing design on a tier of another type prints blank.
Generate one tablet per name 每名独立牌位	Printing only: a Couple or Family entry prints as one tablet per name, with the receipt number suffixed -1, -2. Registration and the receipt don’t change.

Bundle settings

Setting	What it does
Included Items 包含项目	The tablets one purchase includes. For each, set the type (往生 memorial or 延生 blessing), the quantity, names per tablet, the 阳上 count for memorial tablets, and its template. The donor form shows one name row per included tablet.
Extra Options 额外选项	Paid add-ons on top of the bundle, priced per extra tablet (/位) — for example an extra blessing tablet at RM 50. At most one per type. Add-on tablets print after the included ones.

If something goes wrong
