Your directory listing

How your organization appears in the public DonorCARE directory, and where you edit it.

Who can do this The account that completed the claim. If your organization is a DonorCARE customer, an Owner or Admin (or any role your Owner has given directory listing access).

Your organization’s entry in the public directory can be edited by your team once it is claimed. Where you edit it depends on whether your organization is a DonorCARE customer.

Your situation Where you edit
You claimed the listing with a donor account, and your organization is not (yet) a DonorCARE customer donorcare.my/my-listings, signed in with the account that completed the claim. See Edit your claimed listing.
Your organization is a DonorCARE customer and its account has been linked to the listing In the DonorCARE admin, under Organization → Directory Listing. The page is titled My Directory Listing.

The Directory Listing item only appears in the admin sidebar once your organization owns a listing. A claimant who isn’t part of a DonorCARE organization can’t sign in to the admin, so for them donorcare.my/my-listings is the only editor.

The badge next to your organization’s name shows who controls the listing.

Badge on the public page Badge shown in the admin editor What it means for donors
Unclaimed Unmanaged Nobody from the organization controls the page. Donors can suggest changes.
Claimed Managed, not a customer Someone from the organization has claimed the listing and keeps it accurate. Donations are not taken through DonorCARE.
Runs on DonorCARE Runs on DonorCARE The organization collects donations through DonorCARE, and the listing shows a Donate Now button.

Runs on DonorCARE describes where the organization takes donations. It is not a check of your registration papers. A listing linked to an organization that isn’t live yet, or is still on the free plan, stays Claimed on the public page.

For how donors read these badges, see Understand a directory listing.
