Correct your registration details
Submit your registration number, registration type and tax-exempt status for review, and see what happens next.
Three fields on your listing are not saved directly. You propose a new value, and a reviewer approves it before it goes live. This is because donors and reviewers rely on these fields for identity and tax purposes.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Claim the listing. See Claim your organization’s listing.
- Have your official registration details to hand. A number you type is evidence for the reviewer, not proof by itself, and it is also printed on the public page for anyone to read.
-
Open Registration & tax. At
donorcare.my/my-listings, open the Registration & tax step. In the admin, open Organization → Directory Listing and find Registration & tax status. A reviewer approves these fields before they take effect. -
Enter the new value. The three fields are:
- Registration number: a reviewer checks it against your official registration before it goes live. In the admin it is described as the identity key linking your listing to your organization.
- Registration type
- Tax-exempt approval: choose Unknown, Yes or No. A reviewer verifies your tax-exempt approval, since donors rely on it for tax-deductible receipts.
Each field has a badge: Reviewed when the current value has been through review, Awaiting review while a change is waiting.
-
Select Submit for review beside the field you changed. The button is only active once the value differs from the current one. The field’s badge changes to Awaiting review and the field is locked.
-
Wait for the decision. The live value stays as it is until a reviewer approves your change. You can’t approve your own proposal.
Withdraw a proposal
Section titled “Withdraw a proposal”While a field shows Awaiting review, select Withdraw. You are asked “Withdraw this proposal? The current value stays.” Select Yes, withdraw, or Cancel to keep it.
